Questions before a KPV offer

Chapter J · Cost questions

Get a price for the whole proposal.

Separate the cost of being assessed from the cost of any proposed product. Ask what each line pays for.

KPV has no official price to report

With no approved KPV medicine as of September 28, 2026, there was neither a drug-maker list price nor a government price for it. [a]

The term “list price” means the amount a drug maker publishes as its price. [a]

For a specific care proposal, request the full written quote from the service involved. Keep the price separate from the question of whether the proposal is appropriate.

Ask what pays for the assessment

  • Would I pay separately for the visit, or is it part of a membership?
  • What does the fee include if no treatment is prescribed?
  • Are questions after the visit included?
  • Is a later visit charged separately?

Ask for the terms before entering payment details. Keep a copy of the terms beside the quote so the headline price has context.

Ask what sits outside that fee

  • Are any tests charged separately?
  • Does the quote include every proposed product?
  • Would there be a shipping or handling charge?
  • Who would send each bill?

Ask for an itemized quote: a separate line for each charge. If a line is not clear, ask what service or item it pays for.

Read the ongoing terms

  • Does the price change after an introductory period?
  • Does payment renew automatically?
  • What happens if I cancel before the next charge?
  • What is refunded if the assessment does not lead to treatment?

A useful quote answers both “What would I pay now?” and “What would I be agreeing to later?” Leave unanswered charges on the question list.

Ask about insurance as a separate step
